Our objective is to provide an outlet for local artisans

& farmers to showcase and sell their items. 

General Information

*Market is open every Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm

March 21st through December 19th, 2009

*There is no participation charge to Vendors or other fees

*Vendors are asked to be set-up for operation by 9:00am

*There is no requirement to set up a tent; however, Vendors are encouraged to dress tables and use a "market umbrella"/tent to create a "market atmosphere"

City Market on the Green does NOT provide tables or chairs

*Permanent construction of booths is not allowed and all display tables and items must be removed at end of each market day 

Guidelines

*No sale of alcoholic beverages is allowed-including “package to go” items

*Samples of your product are allowed, however cooking/grilling items at the Market is not allowed unless Vendor has the proper licenses (including a mobile license) from the City of Macon & Bibb Co. Health Dept. to do so. 

In order to maintain the objective of City Market on the Green:

*No catalog sales are allowed

*Flea market and /or yard sale items are strictly prohibited

*Items must be handcrafted by the Vendor or associate

*Georgia grown seasonal produce is strongly encouraged, especially organic  

Space location cannot be guaranteed...this applies to Vendors who do not participate on a weekly basis. Vendors that attend weekly for the season are given priority of location. See Brad Holloway(at upper end at the water feature) on where to set up.

Special events may require any vendor to relocate from regular space 

For PR purposes and contact, Market does require information-including name, address, phone #, e-mail address and you must list items you will be selling.

NOTE: Request for participation may be rejected based on items to be sold to prevent duplication of product.
